Kids Can Go From Training Wheels to Two Wheels In Less Than an Hour With the New Wallaby Kids Bicycle Trainer

WALLABY KIDS BICYCLE TRAINER
With the Wallaby Kids Bicycle Trainer kids can learn to ride without training wheels in less than an hour. The adjustable harness with its sturdy handle allows parents to keep a firm grip on their child. Since kids aren’t afraid of falling, they can concentrate on learning to balance and control their bike. After years of trying, many children learn in as little as fifteen minutes. Available for $34.95 at www.wallabykids.com, or call toll-free 877-WALLABY. (PRNewsFoto)[AS]
DENVER, CO USA 06/21/2004

    DENVER, June 21 /PRNewswire/ -- A simple, one-size-fits all harness with
an easy-grip handle called the Wallaby Kids Bicycle Trainer takes the pain and
strain out of teaching kids to ride a bike.

The Trainer is the brain child of T.J. McDonald, who was dreading the
bending over and inevitable back pain he knew would accompany teaching his six
year old daughter Emily to ride. The Wallaby Kids Bicycle Trainer ($24.95) is
available at http://www.wallabykids.com.
"With the traditional method of running along holding the seat, you're
controlling the bike for the child which slows learning. With the Wallaby
Trainer, you hold your child while they quickly learn to control and balance
the bicycle," explains Wallaby Kids co-founder Peggy McDonald.
The Wallaby Kids Bicycle Trainer features an adjustable vest-style harness
with heavy-duty Velcro straps and a sturdy handle that allows parents to grip
the child instead of the bike.
Determined to make this universal childhood experience easier on both
parents and kids, the McDonald's founded Wallaby Kids, Inc. Soon after,
testimonials from amazed customers began arriving.
"Our seven-year old daughter Danielle learned in about an hour -- it was
great!" says Ann Wilds, from Conroe, Texas. "Danielle really wanted to ride
without her training wheels, but was afraid of falling. She was very
confident once we showed her we could pick her up by the handle and the
harness wouldn't come off."
"I quickly trained my 5 and 7-year old, and my back felt fine the next
day," says Leah Schlesinger from Indianapolis, Indiana.
Cyndee McDougal from Long Beach, California, wrote, "We tried for two
years to teach our son to ride a two-wheeler. The weekend we got the Wallaby
Trainer he was riding in 30 minutes."
"It was a real confidence booster for my sons Joseph and Nathan, ages 4
and 6," says Judy Dietrick, of Denver, Colorado. "They both learned in a day.
They were so excited!"

The Wallaby Bicycle Trainer can also be used with skateboards, ice skates
and rollerblades. It's available at http://www.wallabykids.com for $24.95 with
bicycle safety coloring book and sport bottle, or call 877-WALLABY toll-free.
